Position Summary

The Client Transformation Success Manager is at the forefront of redefining how clients experience tax and financial services. This role focuses on fostering deep client relationships, delivering value-driven solutions, and ensuring measurable success through personalized tax planning, wealth management integration, and transformation-focused strategies.

A core element of this role is providing recurring, frictionless, ever-increasing value, and serial transformations.

In collaboration with the Client Transformation Excellence Manager and other team members, you’ll help drive continuous improvements in service delivery while empowering clients to achieve their financial goals through innovation, empathy, and proactive planning.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the central point of contact for clients, building trust and fostering meaningful, long-term relationships.
  • Deliver personalized, proactive service by developing comprehensive tax and financial plans that integrate wealth management, estate planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Client Excellence Manager on After Action Reports (AARs) to drive continuous improvement in client experiences and service delivery.
  • Articulate Tax Samaritan’s transformative value proposition to prospective and current clients, guiding them on a journey to achieve measurable financial success and peace of mind.
  • Continuously “plus” the client experience, delivering surprising and delightful touches that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, fostering trust and long-term relationships through empathy and understanding.
  • Consult with clients to identify opportunities for tax advisory, proactive planning, and wealth management strategies.
  • Guide clients through a transformational journey, demonstrating the value of integrated financial solutions.
  • Embody assurance by simplifying complex processes, ensuring clarity, and creating experiences that clients view as indispensable.
  • Anticipate client needs and provide proactive recommendations that align with their long-term goals.
  • Consistently “plus” client experiences by surprising and delighting them with exceptional service.
  • Coach and mentor team members to align with our impact-driven philosophy.

Advisory Services and Value Delivery

  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized tax plans, incorporating wealth management, estate planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Educate clients on holistic financial solutions, emphasizing long-term transformation over transactional outcomes.
  • Serve as a key player in delivering VFO services, working with accredited global experts to address clients’ financial challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Deliver transformative results, focusing on creating measurable success and enhancing customer lifetime value.
  • Engage in subscription-style service delivery, ensuring clarity on pricing, deliverables, and ongoing value creation.

Service Delivery Excellence

  • Partner with the Client Excellence Manager to execute After Action Reports (AARs), analyzing client engagements and driving continuous improvements.
  • Emphasize seamless service delivery, streamlining processes to reduce friction and enhance outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment across departments to ensure client objectives are met effectively and innovatively.

Collaboration and Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional efforts to optimize client outcomes and ensure alignment with Tax Samaritan’s mission and core values.
  • Inspire teams to embrace the principles of simplifying client touchpoints and focusing on their success.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

  • Track and analyze client satisfaction, retention, and overall service effectiveness, continuously seeking opportunities for growth.
  • Contribute to developing strategies that ensure clients experience consistent, value-driven service.
  • Implement strategies to maximize client retention and minimize churn by consistently adding value and “plussing” experiences.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Credentials: U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
  • Experience: Proven expertise in tax advisory, accounting services, or financial planning, with an emphasis on proactive strategies and wealth management.
  • Empathy and Rapport: Demonstrated ability to build authentic client relationships, emphasizing care and understanding.
